THE X LECTURES
In 2024 CJ began performing comedy-philosophy lectures marketed directly to their audience through their videos and personal mailing list. These in person experiences function as extensions of their online work, skewering and celebrating the tensions of the digital age. In 2025 they performed their first lecture tour across Canada, the UK and Ireland, filling venues like The Royal Theatre in Toronto, The Rio Theatre in Vancouver and The Sugar Club in Dublin, culminating in a sold out performance in London’s Leicester Square Theatre.
They speak passionately on an eclectic array of subjects, intertwining aesthetic philosophy, pop culture, internet pathology, and Christian theology, riding on the back of rigorous research and colourful expletives.
Each separate lecture is wholly unique and distinct from the others, but all tie together into one story of seeking Beauty outside the Self.
